5. As you explore ingredients, notice how everything around us is made up of chemicals consisting of atoms bound together into molecules. But what about companies that claim their products are chemical free! How can this be? Here is an example:
When companies claim their product is chemical free, it is truly unlikely that this is true, because almost all products contain water, which is a molecule/chemical itself because it contains 2 hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom. Along with this being one problem, they also like to use other ingredients that are more environmentally friendly so it looks as though it may be chemical free. Some of these products would include lemon juice and baking soda. When a cleaning product claims that it is chemical free, it most likely does contain chemicals in one way or another.
